Taj Mahal Quartzite
Taj Mahal Quartzite has a warm beige base crossed by gentle veins of grey, gold and orange, giving it the soft look of marble with the strength of quartzite. Hand-picked from Brazilian quarries, it is one of our most requested marble-look stones. It is a natural quartzite, not a marble and not an engineered quartz, so it offers the elegance people love about marble with far better day-to-day durability.
Key Benefits of Taj Mahal Quartzite
Durable: as a quartzite, Taj Mahal is hard (around 7 on the Mohs scale), heat-resistant and scratch-resistant, which suits a working kitchen as much as a feature wall. Unlike marble, it does not etch from everyday acids like lemon juice or wine.
Low maintenance: its low porosity means it only needs sealing every two to three years, less often than marble, and it wipes clean with a pH-neutral cleaner.
Marble look, natural stone: the warm beige base and grey-gold veining read as a soft block of colour across a room, and because it is natural, every slab is unique. Available in polished and honed finishes.
Versatile: heat-resistant and UV-stable, so it works indoors and out.
Best for: kitchen benchtops, islands, splashbacks, feature walls and bathroom vanities.
After 20 years supplying natural stone across Sydney and Newcastle, we have found Taj Mahal to be one of the easiest marble-look quartzites to live with. See it in person at our Greenacre or Beresfield showroom, since photos do not capture its depth and movement.

Crystal White Quartzite is a natural quartzite with a bright, near-uniform white surface and a subtle crystalline sparkle, with little to no veining to interrupt it. The clean white tone reads as a calm, light-filled block of colour, catching the light softly across a benchtop or wall.
That simplicity is its strength. It works as a quiet backdrop or a statement surface, and it suits open, light-filled rooms where a heavily patterned stone would feel busy. As a quartzite, it is hard, heat-resistant, and scratch-resistant, with low porosity, so it stands up to a working kitchen and needs only occasional sealing every two to three years.
Best for: kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, feature walls, splashbacks and flooring.
It pairs well with warm timber cabinetry, all-white palettes and bold accent colours. See the current Crystal White slabs at our Sydney or Newcastle showroom.
