Taj Mahal Quartzite
Taj Mahal Quartzite has a warm beige base crossed by gentle veins of grey, gold and orange, giving it the soft look of marble with the strength of quartzite. Hand-picked from Brazilian quarries, it is one of our most requested marble-look stones. It is a natural quartzite, not a marble and not an engineered quartz, so it offers the elegance people love about marble with far better day-to-day durability.
Key Benefits of Taj Mahal Quartzite
Durable: as a quartzite, Taj Mahal is hard (around 7 on the Mohs scale), heat-resistant and scratch-resistant, which suits a working kitchen as much as a feature wall. Unlike marble, it does not etch from everyday acids like lemon juice or wine.
Low maintenance: its low porosity means it only needs sealing every two to three years, less often than marble, and it wipes clean with a pH-neutral cleaner.
Marble look, natural stone: the warm beige base and grey-gold veining read as a soft block of colour across a room, and because it is natural, every slab is unique. Available in polished and honed finishes.
Versatile: heat-resistant and UV-stable, so it works indoors and out.
Best for: kitchen benchtops, islands, splashbacks, feature walls and bathroom vanities.
After 20 years supplying natural stone across Sydney and Newcastle, we have found Taj Mahal to be one of the easiest marble-look quartzites to live with. See it in person at our Greenacre or Beresfield showroom, since photos do not capture its depth and movement.

Omega Black Quartzite is a deeply striking natural stone with a rich black background beautifully animated by contrasting warm brown and crisp white veining that moves across each slab with a fluid, organic energy that gives the stone a dynamic character and presence all of its own. The interplay between the intense dark foundation and the warm, lighter veining creates a surface that feels simultaneously bold and sophisticated, dramatic without being overwhelming, making it a favourite among those seeking a dark coloured stone with genuine depth and movement. Its exceptional durability and natural density make it as practical as it is visually impressive, performing beautifully in high use applications without sacrificing any of its striking aesthetic appeal. Particularly well suited to a leathered finish that draws out the stone’s unique textural properties and creates a deeply satisfying tactile surface with a contemporary edge, Omega Black Quartzite is an outstanding choice for kitchen benchtops, feature walls, bathroom vanities and flooring, bringing a bold, versatile and enduringly sophisticated dark elegance to modern interiors that appreciate the extraordinary beauty of natural stone.
Mont Blanc Quartzite is a perennial favourite in the Avant Stone collection, and it is easy to understand why. A creamy white background delicately accented with soft grey and warm tan veining creates an elegant, marble-like aesthetic that feels timelessly beautiful in any interior setting. What truly sets Mont Blanc apart is the combination of that refined, sophisticated appearance with the exceptional durability and natural strength that quartzite is celebrated for, delivering the best of both worlds in a single, remarkable natural stone. The warm tonal quality running throughout the stone makes it a particularly beautiful pairing with timber cabinetry and natural finishes, bringing a cohesive warmth to kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces that feels genuinely inviting. Its angular veining also lends itself beautifully to book-matched applications, where mirrored adjacent slabs create sweeping symmetrical compositions of understated elegance on feature walls and statement installations. Perfectly suited to benchtops, walls and floors across both residential and commercial settings, Mont Blanc Quartzite brings a classic, enduring beauty and a quiet natural sophistication to any interior fortunate enough to showcase it.
Infinity White Quartzite presents a clean, neutral grey background that serves as a sophisticated canvas for bold, dark, angular veining that cuts across each slab with a striking architectural confidence. The sharp, geometric quality of the veining creates a compelling visual contrast against the softer grey foundation, adding a sense of movement and depth that feels both naturally formed and elegantly structured. As a quartzite, Infinity White offers exceptional durability and natural strength, making it as well suited to the demands of a busy kitchen benchtop as it is to a dramatic feature wall or refined bathroom vanity. Its versatile neutral palette integrates beautifully across a wide range of interior styles, from clean contemporary spaces to more traditional design schemes, bringing a timeless sophistication and quiet natural beauty to any application it graces.
Aurora Quartzite captures the ethereal beauty of the polar lights in natural stone form, with spectacular swirling colourations of soft pastel green, misty grey and luminous white moving across each slab like the aurora borealis frozen in time. The colour palette is genuinely extraordinary, sage greens blending seamlessly into creamy whites and cool greys to create a surface that feels simultaneously serene and alive with natural movement. No two slabs are alike, each carrying its own unique interpretation of these dancing tones. Beyond its remarkable visual appeal, Aurora is a true quartzite, offering exceptional durability and density that makes it equally well suited to kitchen benchtops, outdoor feature walls and everything in between. Available in honed and leathered finishes, it pairs beautifully with natural timber, brushed brass and bronze fixtures and organic textures that complement its earth meets sky aesthetic, making it one of the most versatile and visually captivating stones in the collection.
