Austral Dream Dolomite has soft cream tones carrying delicate white and gold veining, giving it a warmth that sits comfortably in a room rather than demanding attention. It is the kind of stone people choose when they want calm rather than drama.
You may see it searched as Austral Dream quartzite or Austral Dream marble, but it is a natural dolomite. Dolomite generally sits between marble and quartzite. It is harder and more forgiving than marble, but softer than quartzite, which gives Austral Dream the soft, veined look people love in marble with a little more resilience for everyday use.
In the kitchen, Austral Dream suits benchtops, islands and waterfall ends where a marble might worry you. Its cream base works with white, timber and darker joinery, and the gentle veining is easier to match across joins than a bolder stone. It also works well on bathroom vanities, feature walls and splashbacks, and pairs easily with brass or bronze fixtures.
Our current Austral Dream slabs are 20 mm thick with a honed finish, from about 2820 to 3200 mm long and 1700 to 1760 mm high. Each slab is shown below with its code and size, so you can choose the exact piece for your project.
Like any natural stone, dolomite is porous. Have it sealed when it is installed, reseal as your supplier or sealer manufacturer recommends, and wipe up acidic spills such as lemon juice or wine promptly to keep the honed finish even.

Rosso Travertine is a genuinely radiant and distinctive natural stone that stands apart from conventional travertines with its bold, warm red hues and vibrant character, bringing an immediate sense of energy and personality to any space it occupies. The rich red tones move across each slab, with the natural horizontal banding and organic texture characteristic of travertine, but with a warmth and colour depth that feel entirely their own, giving the stone a captivating presence that is both dramatically beautiful and deeply inviting. Where most travertines lean towards creamy beiges and cool greys, Rosso offers something genuinely different. This stone infuses interiors with the warmth and vibrancy of sun-baked Mediterranean landscapes without sacrificing any of the timeless natural elegance that makes travertine so enduringly beloved. Perfectly suited to feature walls, fireplace surrounds, bathroom vanities and statement flooring, Rosso Travertine pairs beautifully with warm timber, brushed brass and bronze fixtures, and earthy neutral tones, bringing a bold, captivating natural warmth to any interior that embraces the extraordinary character of truly distinctive natural stone. As with all travertine, periodic sealing every one to two years will protect its naturally porous surface and preserve its vibrant beauty.
Blue Moon Granite is a striking natural stone with a distinctive grey-and-blue background, boldly intersected by sharp, angular veining that gives each slab a uniquely geometric, contemporary character. The cool blue-grey tones and crisp, angular patterns create a rugged yet refined aesthetic that feels equally at home in modern interior spaces and outdoor entertaining areas. Its exceptional durability and natural weather resistance make it a particular favourite for external applications such as BBQ benches and alfresco entertaining spaces, where both practicality and visual impact matter. Available in tile and paving formats through the Avant Stone Natural Stone Tile range, Blue Moon Granite offers a versatile and cohesive solution for those seeking a bold, durable natural stone that performs beautifully inside and out.
Calacatta Noir Marble is a captivating natural stone of striking contrasts, presenting a pristine white background dramatically interwoven with opulent veining in rich shades of gold, warm copper, soft grey and deep black that move across each slab with a bold, expressive energy. The multi-toned veining creates a layered complexity that feels simultaneously luxurious and deeply artistic, each slab offering its own unique composition of colour and movement that no two installations can ever replicate. Where many Calacatta marbles lean towards cool refinement, Calacatta Noir brings a darker, more dramatic personality, grounding the luminous white base with the depth and authority of its black and copper tones. A natural showpiece for feature walls, kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities and fireplace surrounds, Calacatta Noir Marble exudes a sense of grandeur and allure that elevates any interior it graces to something truly extraordinary.
